On Day 1, we also observed Onion cells at 50x, 140x and 340x.
50x:
The onion cells were rectangular and elongated. They were also colorless.
140x:
The cells are much more magnified, and the cells look like they are organized in a layer by layer pattern like bricks of a house.
340x:
A protruding end of a singular cell is visible, which is also colourless. This shows that the internal parts of an onion contain colourless plastids, known as leucoplasts.
