Hello everyone!
My name is Shubhra,
I am in 9th grade and I study in Sparkling Mindz Global School .
I am a part of the Lodha Genius Programme , where I can explore subjects that I enjoy through courses
I am in a course called Exploring The Microcosm , in which I am learning to use a foldscope.
In my previous post I had written about my frist experience of using a foldscope to see a fern rhizome.
After that, we were confronted with a new challenge!
We now needed to make our own slide and sample instead of a premade one and see it under a microscope. For this we used onion skin.
For the sample we used the thin layer of onion skin on a freashly opened onion. Since the skin was basically translucent, we were able to see the skin very well.
the shape of the cell wall was interesting. They were like boxes.
In each zoom I did I was able to see the boxes better.
I was very intriuged by this and I am super excited to see the rest that can come our way!
