THIS, is DAY 3!! OMG we had a LOT of fun-- We even spotted a tardigrade! A tardigrade, also known as a water bear or moss piglet, is a microscopic eight-legged invertebrate renowned for its extreme resilience and ability to survive harsh environments. It survives up to 400 degrees Celsius down to -40 degrees which is awesome... Also, one of my classmates accidentally taped a very very very very very very tiny bug to her foldscope and it was so cool to observe it!! It had a segmented body and whisper thin legs and antennas. These days at Ashoka University are going by so fast and this- being the last week- is going to be very memorable... Being able to see these samples through my handy Foldscope 2.0 is awesome!!
