A thin smear of blood was made on a clean slide and air- dried completely. Methanol was added and incubated at room temperature for 5 minutes. Once all methanol evaporates, add giemsa stain and incubate for 20 minutes. Wash in slow running tap water. Air dry the slide completely. Observe the slides under 10X Microscope and Foldscope.
