こんにちは！
大変しばらくぶりの投稿となってしまいました。今年はより積極的に投稿していきたいと思います。

さて、今日は福岡大学工学部の浜田先生と応援に駆けつけてくださった皆さんと共に福岡市立那珂小学校の生徒さんを迎えてワークショップを行いました。

テーマは那珂小学校の生態系。オフシーズンで使われていない屋外プールや学校の敷地内にあるビオトープにどのような小さな生き物たちがいるか、顕微鏡を使って観察してみよう！

一コマ90分でFoldscopeの組み立てから、サンプル採取、プレパラート作成、そして観察のすべての工程を無事行いました。最後はやや駆け足気味でしたが、参加してくれた小学5年生の皆さんはしっかり自分の顕微鏡を組み立てていました。ミジンコや葉脈、タニシなどに焦点が合うたびに、開催場所の図工室のそこここで歓声があがりました。

「見てみて！」「えーこれなぁに？」「うヮー気持ち悪い…」「おっ、動いてる！」「わわ、すごーいよく見える！」と皆さん興味津々。先生も子供達と混ざってじっくり観察タイム。

あっという間に2コマのワークショップを無事終えました。

参加してくれた那珂小学校の皆さんありがとう！
次回は校内だけでなく、おうちや近所を流れる川原に生息する生き物たちも観察してみてくださいね。水辺に行くときは、必ず保護者の方と一緒に行動してください。
