This is a video through a foldscope of a pond sample that was scooped from the top of the Turtle Pond at Caltech on April 10th, 2019 at 6:20 PM PST.
The magnification of this video is 140x, and there is a tiny amoeba (domain Eukarya) swimming around the air bubble on the left side of the video. We determined this organism to be an amoeba because of its constant motion and size (approximately 250-750 microns) (not bacteria/archaea).
