This is a magnified photo taken of the pollen from an orange hibiscus flower. The sample was obtained on May 9th, 2019 at around 5pm. It was taken from the bushes outside of Page House at Caltech in Pasadena, California. Orange hibiscus flowers were growing throughout the bushes. One budding flower was cut off of the stem of one of the bushes and then some pollen was taken off the inside with a Q-tip and placed on a glass slide. The plant species appears to be an orange hibiscus due to the orange and yellow color and the shape of the petals.
