Foldscope image of orange hibiscus.
This is an image of a sample from an orange hibiscus flower found in a bush outside Page House at the California Institute of Technology at approximately 5:00 pm on May 9th, 2019. After acquiring the flower, pollen was taken from it and placed on a slide for observation.
Bushes outside of Page House had many of these yellow-orange flowers, which were later determined to be orange hibiscus from their features.
