 This photo shows a flake of dandruff from the scalp of a friend. It was obtained at approximately 5pm on Friday, May31st, and gently placed on a clean slide and covered by a cover slip. It was then viewed with a Foldscope, and a phone flashlight was used as an external lightsource. You can roughly make out the flakey texture of the dead skin. The head from which this sample was obtained is depicted below. #caltechbi1
