A few grains of salt were obtained from a shaker in Blacker Dining Hall at approximately 11pm on Friday, May 31st. The grains were placed on a slide, covered by a slip, and viewed through a Foldscope; a phone flashlight was the external lightsource. In the first image, you can make out a few grains of salt, and kind of see their square shape. #caltechbi1
