Here we see a closeup image of a pink flower petal. You can make out a vaguely cellular structure and the pink color of the petal. This flower was obtained from the parking lot of Caltech’s Athenaeum at approximately 3am on Friday, May 31st. A petal was plucked off, placed on a slide, covered with a slip and viewed through a Foldscope with a phone flashlight as the external lightsource. #caltechbi1
