This is the additional part for the foldscope extra credit. These pictures were all taken by the author independently.

  1. The pollen of the red flower (right) and the location of the red flower used to prepare the sample (left). The foldscope image shows yellow particles of the pollen. The sample was obtained outside the Sherman Fairchild Library around 4 PM on May 31st. The sample was prepared by collecting powder extraction from the anthers.

2. The petal of the red flower (left) and the location of the red flower used to prepare the sample (right). The foldscope image shows red particular structure of the petal. The sample was obtained outside the Sherman Fairchild Library around 4 PM on May 31st. The sample was prepared by ripping a petal from the flower.

3. The extraction of the stem of the red flower (right) and the location of the red flower used to prepare the sample (left). The foldscope image shows the yellowish liquid as the extraction from the flower stem. The sample was obtained outside the Sherman Fairchild Library around 4 PM on May 31st. The sample was prepared by squeezing the stem and collecting the liquid.

4. The bark of the tree (right) and the location of the tree used to prepare the sample (left). The foldscope image shows the brownish sticks. The sample was obtained beside the Dabney Hall around 4 PM on May 31st. The sample was prepared by ripping the bark from the tree.

5. The leaf of the green plant (right) and the location of the plant used to prepare the sample (left). The foldscope image shows the green particular structures over the surface of the leaf. The sample was obtained beside the Dabney Hall around 4 PM on May 31st. The sample was prepared by taking a small piece of leaf from the plant.

6. The stem of the white flower (left) and the location of the plant used to prepare the sample (right). The foldscope image shows the yellowish particles in the stem. The sample was obtained beside SFL around 4 PM on May 31st. The sample was prepared by cutting the stem and expanding it on the glass slide.
