Dandelion Here is a close-up of the seeds of a dandelion while it
still looks like a puff-ball. The sample was obtained in Avery Courtyard
Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 PM. We observe that the dandelion looks very wiry and
hair-like under magnification. We blew the dandelion, making some of the seeds
fall onto the glass slide, taping them down, and we covered it with a
coverslip. #caltechbi1
