Spiky Green Leaves Here is a blurry close-up of the small spiny green plants outside in Avery Courtyard. The sample was obtained in Avery Courtyard Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 PM. The leaves were picked from the plant, placed on the glass slide, taped over, and covered with a coverslip. We can see the tubular structure of the plant that resembles the tubular/cylindrical shape of the leaves. #caltechbi1
