We had organized a one day workshop entitled “Foldscope utilization and assembly for science students” to the school and college students on October 16th 2019. Around 150 students are participating from various locations in Tamilnadu. The main concept of this workshop was introducing foldscope to school and college students and promoting knowledge to the students to understand the advantage of foldscope. We have introduced this paper microscope to school and college students. Foldscope was totally different to them. So they are very interest to handle foldscope. Students assemble the foldscope them self and focusing different type of sample collected from college campus. Students are very excited after observing the objects by using foldscope.
