  #BIO60_2021 Abdomen of a fruit fly. I captured a fruit fly that was in  my kitchen near fruits left on the countertop. Examining a fruit fly  intrigued me because I had previous experiences of looking at fruit  flies often under a bulky, rather stationary microscope. I could compare  the two magnifications if the more portable Foldscope with the  contemporary microscope.
