 #BIO60_2021 Flea. I brushed my cat with a flea comb to remove the flea and then placed it on the slide with a glass slip covering it. When examining the flea, It was a bit difficult to see the upper body since the light did not pass through the head well. The abdomen was easier to view along with the legs. The sample overall was quite fascinating, as I was curious to see the flea up close and see firsthand how its features enable to to stay firmly attached to fur and jump away quickly.
