I started my adventure with the foldscope by looking at a green leaf. I observed the patterns and even got to see a couple of individual cells near the corners of the leafs. Unfortunately, because the leaf was too dark I could not capture very clear images, and the media I posted mostly is composed of a green circle.
To tackle this problem, I decided to also look at a pink flower. This generated a much clearer image, in which one could see the delicacies of this plant. Also, the pink color is very visually appealing when observed underneath the foldscope. The droplets that can be seen on the corner side of the petal is the distilled water I added to my slide.
Overall, I enjoyed using my foldscope and look forward to looking at our other biological phenomenon!
