 This is one of my roommate’s hairs, which she kindly let me borrow to observe under the FoldScope. I found the root of the hair the most interesting, and I wondered about differences in the shape and root of different types of hair (would a curly-haired person’s hair root look different? What about someone with very long hair – would the ends of their hair look different from the hair near the roots?)
