The following video is of a sample taken from the baylands of the San Francisco Bay Area. The mixture of sludge, mud, and plant material makes for a really cool pattern close up, especially with the light module installed behind the lens.
The sample was prepared by laying two stack of 3 pieces of double sided tape on a microscope slide and the cover slip being placed on top of the sample/tape. IMG_9742 2
