 When I went out side to find something to look at with my foldscope, I saw a cockroach floating in my pool. I decides to dissect it to see what I could find. Out of the specimens I collected the eye was my favorite.


 It was really interesting to see that the cockroach had compound eyes. It looked black to the naked eye, but under the foldscope it showed many different colors when I held it to the light…sorta like a disco ball.
