 For my second Foldscope post, I decided to examine Vitamin C powder! This powder has come in handy for me numerous times, so I thought I’d get a closer look at what it’s actually made of. The sample was procured from a package of EmergenC powder at Target. As expected, I noticed numerous small dots, i.e. the grains of powder. Surprisingly, however, I also noticed larger black chunks. They don’t seem to be visible to the naked eye – thus, I suspect they are simply larger chunks of vitamin C hidden within the powder to trick the consumer into having vitamins. I had some difficulty taking the photo with my phone, but below are my best attempts!!
