The leaf was taken off an orchid in my house. After pealing and pealing it so that it was thin enough for the ligt to pass through. There are two componates in this leaf are mesophyll( which is made up of chlorophyll) and the veins (which hydrate the leaf).
The leaf is approximately 2 -2.5 cm long and 1 millimeter wide.
The leafs veins became more prominate when the flashlight was shine on it. The veins bring aloe to keep the leaf hydrated and loose. Chlorophylls main purpose is to keep the leaf green and fresh.
