Photographs of mosquito larvae (head and last abdominal segment with brush after preparation of permanent slide) collected from Palashani Village under foldscope project by the Research Assistant- Dr. Utpal Dutta and Dr. Imdadur Rahman , Sibsagar College, Assam. PI of the project Dr. Saumar Jyoti Mahanta . The Sivasagar district of Assam is endemic for mosquito borne diseases such as Malaria, Japanese Encephalitis and Filariasis or Elephantiasis.
