Mosquito larvae (head and mouth parts), protozoans and worms under Foldscope after preparation of slides. The specimens are collected from the contaminated water sample of Palashani Village under foldscope project by the PI of the project Dr. Saumar Jyoti Mahanta and Research Assistant- Dr. Utpal Dutta & Dr. Imdadur Rahman, Sibsagar College, Assam. The Sivasagar district of Assam is endemic for mosquito borne diseases such as Malaria, Japanese Encephalitis and Filariasis or Elephantiasis. The protozoans may causes amoebiasis and diarrhea. The worms may inhabit as internal parasite within the human body.
