Cell of the leaf Brahmakamal observed under Foldscope at Ekya School J. P. Nagar, Bangalore. Scientifically known as Sassurea obvallata is a native to the Himalayas and Uttarakhand of India. This plant usually grows upto 0.3 metre or 1 feet. This plant is considered as a medicinal herb in Tibet. In Tibet, it is referred to as Sah-du Goh-ghoo . It has a bitter taste. The entire plant is used. It is endangered because people are cutting it down for their own use. It is found in the region of the Himalayas. It is also used to cure urogenital disorders.
