A one day orientation workshop on “Foldscope as a Research Tool” (under DBT Funded Project) was conducted by the Department of Crop Production, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam-793103, Meghalaya on 25 th August, 2018. A total of 62 students from three different schools Kendriya Vidyalaya NEPA, MeECL Secondary School and Kendriya Vidyalaya participated in the programme.
Some of the samples observed and captured are:
Stomata in Lower Leaf Surface of Maize ( Zea mays ) Pollens of Chrysanthemum ( Chrysanthemum indicum) White Rust of Crucifers ( Albugo candida)
