At Jyothy Institute of Technology (Bangalore) farm, infected leaves were found as shown below.

On the leaf surface mass of orange-brown powdery spores was observed, which was observed under foldscope.

It was leaf rust. This fungal disease predominantly caused by puccinia species, occurs primarily on the lower surface of leaves.
