IRTC conducted a hands-on training of foldscope at Govt. High school, Mundur, Palakkad, Kerala on 29/10/18. Assembly and use of foldscope was the content of training. A total of 30 students from class 9 participated. Students learned to assemble the foldscope and to prepare slides. They observed microorganisms in the water samples from pond water, paddy fields, straw water etc and also cross section of dicot stem; Eupatorium.
