Cockroach belongs to the phylum Arthropoda and have jointed legs.The body is divided into three parts-head,thorax and abdomen. Three pairs of legs are attached to the thorax.They have three joints on each leg which means they have 18 knees.
The legs have the following parts-coxa,trochanter,femur,fibia and tarsus.All these parts were observed under the foldscope.
