A Demonstration was given to farmers to have knowledge of actual procedure used to examine the pebrine spores, a stringent disease in muga silkworms and many other silkworms found in Assam by using Foldscope microscope.A live comparison between the conventionally used laboratory microscope and Foldscope microscope to explain its benefits over the other. Also the Foldscope assembly is being demonstrated to the Muga Farmers of different districts of Assam.
