 is filamentous green algae, free floating in fresh water belong to family
 
 Oedogoniaceae.
 
 It reproduce asexually by fragmantation and also through zoospores . It is of two types viz. Macrandrous and nannandrous species which further classified into monoicious nd diocious species.
