Class-7 Topic-Budding in yeast Lab activity was conducted for class 7 to show the process of budding in yeast.A pinch of yeast was placed in a container with some water and a spoon of sugar was dissolved in it.It was kept for an hour in warm room. A drop of liquid was placed in a slide and observed under foldscope .We could observe spherical shaped yeast cells. We could also observe new buds but it was not clear.
