Fusarium sp. is considered as a plant pathogen of temperate growing regions, where it causes Fusarium head blight in various grains. The species was isolated that was found to grow on its host seed (Finger millet) with a cottony appearance. The species was visualized under Foldscope by Lactophenol cotton blue staining.
