dorsal view Spiderworts are commonly seen ornamental plants native to Argentina, Guatemala, and Mexico.
the observed sample is the coloured side of the plant i.e., the dorsal side of the leaf
the cells are purple in colour but few cells around the stomata are green in colour. the leaf has typical monocot leaf characteristics.
