T.S. of Petiole of Mango , without staining , 13.11.2018, ( sample collected from farm of ICAR, Meghalaya). It is clear that there is spectrum of light or light reflection which is near to epidermis, How we can explain it ? We have seen it in some other T.S. images of petiole even inside the cell wall present in T.S. of leaf of other plant with same foldscope & focused at same magnification, coupled with LED, Flash of camera has been kept off. Can it be due to presence of some minute solid particles adsorb on the surface of epidermis or present as a nutrient inside the cells.
