Item observed: OVULES OF BRINJAL FLOWER
DESCRIPTION-
Scientific name – Solanummelongena
Brinjal is a plant species in the nightshade family Solanaceae, Solanum melongena , grown for its often purple edible fruit. Each brinjal flower had 350-400 ovules in it. Out of which i took some and mounted it on the slide. It was very nice to observe it under the foldscope.
