Hello all,
My name is Max Sporer and I am a student at Princeton University in Rob Pringle’s ecology course (EEB 321). I thoroughly enjoyed my foldscope experience. Assembly was somewhat challenging but ultimately very rewarding, and it only took ~20 minutes! I collected a sample of dirt from around Princeton’s campus. I then used my phone’s flashlight to observe my sample. My sample is pictured here:

I observed many other things too, like leaves and water and spit! This would make a great Christmas gift for a young kid interested in science. I highly recommend it.
