ITEM-WING OF PINE CONE
DESCRIPTION-On our visit to the Loktak Lake and the surrounding regions located in Imphal me and my friend had collected pine cones that were fallen on the ground as a sample. The pine cones belong to the class of plants called gymnosperms.The pinecones disperse their seeds by the means of aerial wings containing the seeds.With the help of the foldscope we observed the wing of the pine cone ,The wings appeared like red,long and cylindrical structures under the foldscope.
