 This is an image of a colony of mold. The sample, dark brown to black in color, was collected from the air conditioning unit in my room on 4/15/19 at 4:30 pm. It was then mounted on a glass slide with a droplet of water and plastic cover slip. The picture was taken by a Samsung S5 Galaxy and Foldscope lens.
 
 
 Judging from the intertwined structure made of filaments characteristic of fungi, the kingdom of the organism is Fungi and the domain is Eukarya.

 A flower and leaf from a star jasmine plant was obtained at 10:00 pm on May 8th, 2019 at the bushes outside of the Gates-Thomas building at Caltech. This is a picture of a slice from the jasmine leaf, taken with Samsung S5 Galaxy and Foldscope lens. I obtained this sample by using a razor blade to scrape off the top portion of the leaf, gently peeling off a thin layer, and wet-mounting it to a glass slide. You can see the epidermis (clear part towards the left) as well as the spongy mesophyll cells with a hexagonal/circular structure.

 This is a picture of the Jasmine flower petal. A thin slice of the flower petal was obtained by scraping a razor blade across the petal. The slice was wet-mounted to a glass slide. In this picture, you can see the hexagonal/circular structure of the cells in the flower petal. They bear much similarity to the cells in the leaves, upon comparing the two pictures.

 A dead ladybug was found in my room on May 10th, 2019 at 5:00 pm. Instead of letting a good opportunity go to waste, I decided to dissect it and image its parts under the Foldscope lens. The above picture is of one of its back legs. I removed the leg and wet-mounted it onto a glass slide. You can see the tibia and claw of the leg in this picture, as well as some hairs, which possibly act as feel receptors.

 This is a picture of a mandible from the same ladybug. The head from the ladybug was removed via razor blade, the mandible was then sliced off, and finally mounted onto a glass slide. You can see the claw structure, which will help with eating, and the hairs which act as feelers.

 This is a picture of the wings of the ladybug. I removed the hard protective shell to reveal the delicate wings folded underneath. I then peeled off a wing and wet-mounted it to a glass slide. The brown structure running from the top to bottom in the picture is likely a vein providing support to the wing. The black spots are most likely the tiny hairs covering the entire membrane of the wing.
