Today was the second day of my Exploring the Microcosm journey, and once again I discovered that even the most ordinary things can become extraordinary when viewed through a Foldscope. After yesterday's observations, I was excited to see what new surprises awaited me in the microscopic world.π¬π¬
This time, I observed potato peel and potato flakes . At first, they seemed like very simple everyday materials that we see in the kitchen almost every day. However, when I placed them under the Foldscope, I realized that there was much more to them than what meets the eye.

The potato peel revealed interesting patterns and structures that are impossible to notice without magnification. As I increased the magnification, more details became visible, making me appreciate how carefully nature designs even the outer covering of a potato. What looked rough and ordinary on the outside turned out to have its own organized microscopic structure.π

The most fascinating observation was the potato flakesπ. Under the Foldscope, they appeared completely different from what I had imagined. Tiny granular structures became visible, and I learned that these granules are mainly starch stored within the potato. It was amazing to think that something as common as a potato contains such intricate microscopic details. The higher the magnification, the more clearly these hidden structures appeared, making the observation even more exciting.
Every sample I observe teaches me that there is a hidden world around us waiting to be explored. A potato is no longer just a vegetable to me; it is a miniature world filled with fascinating structures and patterns.

By the end of today's session, I felt even more curious about the microscopic universe that exists all around us. Day by day, the Foldscope is teaching me to observe more carefully, ask more questions, and appreciate the beauty hidden in the smallest details of everyday life. π¬π₯β¨
