DAY 4 – When a Leaf Became a Secret City! 🌿🔬

Yesterday's observation felt less like a science activity and more like an adventure. The stars of the day were Frangipani and a leaf sample , and honestly, I never expected a simple leaf to be this interesting.
If someone had asked me yesterday what I thought a leaf looked like under a microscope, I would have probably said, "Green... just greener?" 😊 But the Foldscope had completely different plans for me.
As I increased the magnification and finally observed the leaf structure at 340x , it felt as if I was looking at a hidden city.What looked like an ordinary leaf from the outside suddenly appeared as a masterpiece of microscopic architecture.🌿🌿
The Frangipani sample 🌼🌼was equally exciting !! Every adjustment of focus revealed something new, making me realize how much detail is hidden in things we walk past every day without noticing. Nature seems to have an endless supply of surprises, and the Foldscope acts like a secret key to unlock them.
One of the funniest things about this journey is that I can no longer look at plants normally. While other people see a leaf, I find myself wondering.... "What microscopic secrets are hiding inside that?" 🌿😂
The image I captured at 340x looked almost artistic rather than biological. If someone had shown it to me without context, I might have guessed it was a modern art painting, a maze, or even a map of an imaginary world. It's amazing how science and beauty can exist in the same picture.
By the end of the observation, I realized that every sample has its own story. Some stories are visible to our eyes, while others require curiosity, patience, and a Foldscope to uncover. Day 4 reminded me that the closer we look at nature, the more extraordinary it becomes.🌼🌿🏞🌟
