I was sampling for pollen grains from a hibiscus plant, and me being the terrible sampler, I had no luck. So instead, just to make the teacher happy, I just tried one last time (I was exhausted and on the verge of throwing all my objects across the room) and I looked through the lens one last time, thinking I won't find any pollen grains as usual. And guess what? I didn't. Instead, I found something much more intriguing, a tiny unidentified living organism. Of course, it has been discovered before, but with my lack of knowledge, I have no idea what it is. This poor creature had the misfortune of being on the exact area I samples and to my fortune and luck, it got caught and killed and now I keep it as a trophy of my hard work. Life really is cruel for some, isn't it?
