Hello foldscopers!

It has been SUCH A LONG TIME since I last posted on this webpage. Many important changes have taken place during this time, but curiosity concerning life and all its manifestations endure for ever. Hope you are all well, and continue to discover endless wonders this instrument facilitates us to accomplish.

Some months ago I attended several classes concerning the use of bookfield notes as a way to mingle science and art. It was a challenging course and among the drawings my final work included, were these two.
They represent living beings I have been able to know better by means of a foldscope, and are inspired by the following posts.

As a Biology teacher (which I love being), I firmly believe we should encourage our students to grab a pencil (and a foldscope) and picture the never ending marvels awaiting for us to be seen. And this, at the same time, will propell us to know nature, and to flourish awareness about the importance of protecting IT. ALWAYS. EVERY TIME.

Cheers!

Cristina Bosch
