While spending time in Springdale NL, my hometown, I collected samples of water from a piece of moist moss, a ditch, and a small stream. In each of these samples, among various other observations, I was surprised to find what appeared to be a nematode. Considering many nematodes are parasitic, it was an excellent reminder of why not to drink, or clean wounds with water from the ground when hiking! The videos of the nematodes were taken at 140x magnification
I apologize for the music in the first video, I was listening to a Supertramp record while recording, and I didn't realize it uploaded sound as well!
