This is a sample of plant matter taken from the pond in front of Baxter at 4:00 PM on 4/18/2019 and observed through the foldoscope microscope. The original sample was green water droplets, and the sample in the image is small green floating plant-like particulates. This sample was taken by scooping a small sample of plant matter from the mud of the pond into a cup, diluting the sample with water, and placing a drop of the sample on the slide. This plant matter is from the domain Eukarya, as it visually resembles images of algae (and especially plant matter) found in online databases. There is also no evidence of movement, so it is likely not bacteria.
