This is an image of a sample of the outermost layer of human skin. The sample was obtained by sticking tape to a person’s forearm, then removing the tape to which the outermost layer of skin was attached. The sample is likely mostly composed of dead skin cells, as these are the cells which most readily detach from the body. The isolated cell in the lower left shows the size and roundness of the cells which make up the clusters in this image. The sample was obtained at 5 PM on May 27th, 2019 in a Blacker House kitchen.
