Fabrics when in mist state are exposed to fungi. The fungi development can be seen using foldscope. fungi damages and ruptures the fiber structure thus leading to weakening of fibers.

Workshop for school students from 6th to 12th standard, 150 students from 4 different schools namely, (Prem Vidyalaya, R.E.I. from Agra, Soami Nagar Model School from New Delhi and Primary and secondary schools from Rajaborari) participated. Students were briefed on hygienic practices e.g. Oral hygiene, hand hygiene, cloth hygiene, hair hygiene, etc. Related scientific videos were shown. The hand washing video demonstrated how hand washing can eliminate bacteria on hands. Oral health video was shown which illustrated the techniques to brush teeth. Special session was conducted for girls to educate them on menstrual hygiene. Myths related to menstrual hygiene were discussed. Students were educated on healthy food habits and personal hygiene during menstrual cycle.
