Hello all foldscopers! Sometime ago I had plucked a decayed or diseased small leaf from a plant. I had completely forgotten about it but recently observed it under my foldscope.Turns out the various trails on the affected part of the leaf were by a leaf miner.
Here’s a comparison of the affected & non-affected part of the leaf.
The affected part.(The brown trails are the areas eaten by the miner.)
The non-affected area.(Since the leaf was on the verge of drying there are brown patches in it.) Because of the delaying i couldn’t find any larva or insect on it. So I’m unknown of what kind of leaf miner had caused this damage on the leaf. Please guide me through this.
Here’s also a video of the various trails I had seen.
And happy foldscoping!
