On 19 th June 2018, teachers of Local school around Chilika Lagoon from Balugaon and Banpur area visited the Wetland research and Training Centre, under an exposure visit. During their visit, they have been introduced about the biodiversity of Chilika Lagoon through Lab visit and a presentation on Foldscope followed by a practical demonstration of Foldscope. Foldscope tool was well accepted by the teachers and many of them showed their interest to introduce this in their classroom. The cheap cost of foldscope allows them to use this in the practical classes of their students. The foldscope would not just increase curiosity but would also bring fun in the learning of science especially from Chilika Lagoon.
